Student Exchange Opportunity for Undergraduate Students for Spring Semester 2027
We are pleased to announce applications for the student exchange opportunities for our undergraduate students for Spring Semester 2027.
Important points for interested students:
- Sophomores (3rd, 4th semester) and Juniors (5th Semester) are eligible to apply for the Semester Exchange Program with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Students enrolled in their 6th semester are not eligible to apply for the undergraduate semester exchange program as students cannot go on the exchange in their last academic year, as per the policy.
- Students enrolled in their first year of the degree program are not eligible to apply for the undergraduate semester exchange program as per the policy.
- Make sure to determine the associated costs before applying.
- Selected students are expected to bear IBA semester fee and all the other expenses including accommodation, airfare, visa and travel insurance expenses, local commutation, books, and stationery, etc. during the exchange period.
- Students do not have to bear the tuition fee of the host university. However, they will have to pay the tuition fee of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and University of Malaya. They will also have to pay the registration or activity charges required by the host university.
- It is mandatory for students who want to travel abroad to have medical insurance.
- Must have valid passport (at least 2 years valid).
- Shortlisted students must make sure to get approval from IBA Karachi before selecting courses at the host university.
- OISE will send an email to the shortlisted student only after the interview process is complete. Once you accept the offer, then you are bound to follow the procedure and avail yourself of the opportunity. If you back out at the last minute, then a letter would be issued by OISE stating that students accepted the offer and then didn't go for the Semester Exchange Program. This letter will be placed in your file for the record.
- Shortlisted students are not allowed to negotiate any financial assistance requirement with the host university.
- Students availing the IBA financial aid and National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) scholarship, or any other scholarship must get the availability of their finances checked from their donors to avoid any problems regarding the finances.
Note: If all credits hours studied at the other university are not transferred into the final transcript of the IBA Karachi due to the academic policies, then it may take some more time to complete the degree and it may increase the duration of your studies at the IBA Karachi. This must be communicated with the donors of the scholarship and/or NTHP team before applying for the program.
Note: After completing the semester exchange program, only credits will be considered for the semester at the IBA and NOT the GRADES earned during the exchange program.

Shortlisting will be done primarily on academic merit and interview.
IMPORTANT:
- The deadline cannot be extended further because the international partner universities have their own deadlines, and we have many students to interview and shortlist before that. Students are advised to apply within the deadline.

- 1. ISCTE - Lisbon University Institute (Lisbon, Portugal)
ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) is a public university established in 1972. Pursuing teaching, research and community service activities, it plays a major role in educating qualified specialists and personnel, whose cultural, scientific and technical skills enable them to contribute to sustainable development both at the national and the global level. The strategic objectives of ISCTE-IUL are innovation, quality, internationalization and development of an entrepreneurial culture. While preserving its public university nature, ISCTE-IUL is currently one of the three Portuguese universities (along with the University of Porto and the University of Aveiro) which adopted the Foundation Regime, the latter prescribing management according to private law.
With approximately 9000 students enrolled in undergraduate (46%) and postgraduate (54%) programs, 450 teachers and 220 non-teaching staff, ISCTE-IUL is proud to be one of the most dynamic and innovative universities in the country. Facing high demand, the student vacancies at the ISCTE-IUL have always been fully occupied.

- 2. IAE Aix Marseille Graduate School of Management (Aix-en-Provence France, France)
Established in 1955, IAE Aix-Marseille is the first business school founded in the French university system and is part of Aix-Marseille Université, world's biggest French speaking university. It offers graduate programs (Masters, MSc, MBA, PhD) specializing in different management disciplines that are constantly in alignment with the needs of the business world.
IAE Aix-Marseille demonstrates its strength in innovation through the constant development of new programs as well as through its research activities. It places emphasis on group work, active learning through practical application producing professionals, who excel not only in their specialized field but also in the management of change and interpersonal relations.
Today approximately 30 percent of the population at IAE is composed of international students from approximately 60 different countries and has a network of international partners from five continents.
IBA students from BBA Program (3rd year - minimum 21 years old) are eligible to apply for exchange program to IAE Aix Marseille Graduate School of Management.

SILC Business School was founded in 1994 and is the earliest Sino-foreign cooperative business institute established in China. SILC's foreign partner is the University of Technology, Sydney - in Australia. Since 2010, SILC has been appraised as one of the top 10 influential Sino-foreign cooperative institutions for 5 consecutive years by third-party media such as Sina and Xinhua net. In 2014, SILC submitted the EA (Eligibility Application) and won approval from AACSB. So far SILC has completed the first two stages of the accreditation procedure and entered the third stage of obtaining the official accreditation status.
There are about 3,500 students currently studying at SILC. SILC sets 7 postgraduate courses including two courses awarding master's degree abroad, 3 key national in-plan undergraduate courses and 2 Ministry of Education (MOE) approved overseas degree courses and overseas diploma courses. The Chinese and Australian parties cooperate to develop a scientific and comprehensive teaching system and decide the syllabus and teaching mode of undergraduate courses. The number of SILC graduates has reached more than 13,000 and the employment rate is close to 100%. About 30% of SILC graduates have obtained positions in Fortune 500 companies and 10%-20% of them work in Big Four Accounting Firms.

Founded in 1993 in İstanbul, Koç University is a non-profit private research university located in Istanbul, Turkey and supported by the resources of the internationally renowned Vehbi Koç Foundation. Since its establishment, Koç University has emerged as a center of global excellence in science and education and is uniquely positioned to explore the overlaps of Medicine, Engineering, Science, Social Sciences and Administrative Sciences to further pursue basic and applied research and attract the best students and faculty members. - 5. The Sapienza University of Rome, also called simply Sapienza or the University of Rome, and formally the Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza", is a public research university located in Rome, Italy. It is one of the largest European universities by enrolments and one of the oldest in history, founded in 1303.
Sapienza is the largest University in Europe. Its mission is to contribute to the development of the knowledge society through research, excellence, quality education, and international cooperation. The most influential university rankings worldwide place Sapienza among the first Italian Universities for its research, educational quality, and international dimension. In the rankings for individual subjects, this University is a reference point for many disciplines.

Bilkent University was founded on October 20, 1984, through the joint resolution of İhsan Doğramacı Education Foundation, İhsan Doğramacı Science and Research Foundation and İhsan Doğramacı Health Foundation. The establishment of this private university was later approved by an act of Parliament. The aim was to create a center of excellence in higher education and research. The name "Bilkent" exemplifies the founder's aim, since it is an acronym of "bilim kenti" in Turkish for "city of science and knowledge."
Currently there are about 13,000 students in 9 faculties and 2 four-year professional schools. Among them are foreign students from different countries. With funds from the endowments provided by the founder, the university awards scholarships to 47% of the student body.
To promote the enrichment of teaching and research programs, Bilkent University entered into collaborative projects and exchange programs with many universities abroad. Bilkent has student exchange agreements with universities from countries such as Australia, Japan, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America.
Bilkent University ranks in Times Higher Education's 100 Under 50 list of the world's best young universities.

The most important Catholic University in Europe and the only Italian University to boast an impressive national network with our five Campuses in Milan, Piacenza, Cremona, Brescia and Rome, where the Policlinico Universitario "A. Link Campus University has a strong international focus, which is realized through close agreements with numerous foreign universities to promote the mobility of faculty and students. The University's main building is in a magnificent historic complex surrounded by a large green space in the center of Rome, the Casale di San Pio V. University of Regina is a comprehensive public university located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Universiti Malaya, or UM, Malaysia's oldest university, is situated on a 750-acre (309 hectare) campus in the southwest of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. It was established in April 1949 in Singapore with the merger of the King Edward VII College of Medicine (founded in 1905) and Raffles College (founded in 1928).
The growth of the University was very rapid during the first decade of its establishment and this resulted in the setting up of two autonomous Divisions in 1959, one located in Singapore and the other in Kuala Lumpur. In 1960, the government of the two territories indicated their desire to change the status of the Divisions into that of a national university. Legislation was passed in 1961 and the University of Malaya was established on 1st January 1962.
On June 16th, 1962, University of Malaya celebrated the installation of its first Chancellor, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, who was also the country's first prime minister. The first Vice-Chancellor was Professor Oppenheim, a world-renowned Mathematician.

13. Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS) (Lahore, Pakistan)
The
Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is a world class
academic institution with a proud history of achievement, and ambitious
plans for the future. With support of ten of the leading public and
private sector corporations of Pakistan, the National Management
Foundation (NMF), the sponsoring body of the University, was
incorporated on November 7, 1984. The NMF was granted a charter by the
Government of Pakistan for establishing the University on March 8, 1985.
Through this charter, the University was given the legal right to
establish degree-granting programs. In addition to this, the government
also granted authorization to set up other schools under the aegis of
the 'Lahore University of Management Sciences'.
Over the years LUMS
has initiated a number of programs and as the years unfold, the
university remains committed to offering new programs in relevant,
emerging fields for the youth of the region.
